Throughout the years, a myriad of institutes and individuals have asked the 5 million dollar question. Just what makes an entrepreneur a successful business owner? What attributes or features are intrinsic to a fruitful entrepreneur endeavor and is a person born with those traits? There’s an excellent answer to this questions. Each day gives birth to effective entrepreneurs capable of success!

Let’s explore this more.  Some people think a business owner is born while others think an entrepreneur can be made through coaching, training, and self-development. Others believe a business owner is an artist – either you have it the gift or do you don’t. Still, some others see entrepreneurs as leaders that have superior concentration, discipline, competitive fire, and great people skills. While still others see them as significant risk takers. And all of these examples are right to some extent.

It’s true all successful entrepreneurs combine a few of these qualities and skills that enable them to be successful. These key attributes can be acquired; however, they usually seem to be an intrinsic driving passion that sends people down the course of participating in starting businesses or officially training for a career in business.

Entrepreneurs see the world uniquely. They can see the world as an arrangement of varying forces creating opportunity. They can see something as a whole integrated organism, and they appear to have the ability to see an opportunity within this international or global framework. They are individuals that engage in “systems thinking.” Systems thinking is a management discipline that concerns an understanding of a system by examining the linkages and interactions between the components that comprise the entirety of that defined system as defined by the Systemic Leadership.

There are also various other attributes. Entrepreneurs possess an overwhelming desire to achieve and also tend to push themselves in this way. They are continuously attempting to outthink themselves and their competitors as they are constantly looking for the advantage. This happens as naturally as breathing and is a driving force behind many entrepreneurs.

They have the determination and devotion to follow up and pursue their goals, keep their promises, as well as, they appear confident and focused. You’ll notice they additionally possess a positive mental attitude toward their entrepreneurial endeavor and life. They possess a way of thinking “I’m capable,” and “I will do.” They are not afraid of failing because failure is not in their vocabulary neither is it an option, merely a temporary setback.

They are open-minded, however, they can evaluate threats genuinely within the big picture. They have a remarkable ability to prepare for growth and anticipate trends (think iPod vs. mp3) which provides the upper hand in many competitive situations. Entrepreneurs seem to be able to make smart calls based on “gut” instinct. They are a resourceful type of individual that has superb problem-solving abilities and can diligently overcome challenges as they arise.

Most successful entrepreneurs are superb communicators as well and identify precisely how vital clear and succinct interaction can be to their success. They likewise possess a sound working understanding of their associated business.

When it involves efficient and successful entrepreneurs, it’s a question of exactly what came first, born great or learned to be great?  Is it intrinsic exceptional qualities that we are born with that lead us to be business owners or is it when we choose to be an entrepreneur that we establish the necessary abilities and learn the skills of success? That’s a question we shall entrust to those great orators and thinkers among us to solve.  Us ordinary folks will instead work on starting our businesses.

What is for sure is that successful business owners are born daily in abundance and that you also can be a successful entrepreneur by acquiring the skills and knowledge of success.
