Affirmations are an incredibly powerful tool that you can use to help you achieve your life’s goals in entrepreneurship, business, and career. An untold number of people use positive affirmations to achieve success and realize their dreams. However, there are are many who seem skilled enough, who practice affirmations but never see results. This may be because they are not using them correctly.
Here are three approaches you want to avoid in your daily affirmation practice if you’re going to successfully implement them.

Quitting Too Early

Consistency is critical. Once you get started, the repetition is mandatory and has a lasting effect that continues to build upon itself. Repeating daily your affirmations make it much easier to maintain. In addition, every time you say the statement, you mentally magnify the results. The error that many people make is that they quit the process entirely too early. When you give up too quickly, you don’t give the affirmations enough time to fix into your subconscious.

Having a Different Affirmation Each Day

Repeating a different affirmation every day is like trying to multi-task on 10 assorted projects at once. Because each project requires energy and attention, you can’t help but turn your focus and effort from project to project. However, if you want to see results as quick as possible, then you have to focus on a single affirmation and stick to it. When it comes to affirmations, it’s all about how you focus. To make affirmations effective, you have to use the same declarations daily for at least 30 days. In other words, get focused!

No Attention To Mastery

You may have been using positive affirmations for quite some time and haven’t achieved results. It may mean that you aren’t entirely successful at focusing your attention and declaring what you want. The reality is that the average person has an incredibly short attention span, and become distracted continuously like infants. To make your affirmation statements work for you, you have to master, or at least improve, your ability to maintain attention span. This only comes with practice. By practicing your positive affirmations on a daily basis, you can learn how to master your attention span. Once you can learn how to master your attention, you will start to experience more success and master your manifestations.

Perhaps you haven’t had success with your routine of daily affirmations yet. Don’t worry, you just have to make a few simple changes to your daily practice such as the three I’m sharing. Avoid the missteps listed above, and you’ll quickly find success with using affirmations to better your ability to achieve the things you desire.
